SMTP server hostThe SMTP server address of your email provider (e.g., smtp.gmail.com for Gmail, smtp.office365.com for Outlook).
SMTP server portThe port used for sending emails. Common values:
  • 587 for encrypted connection (STARTTLS)
  • 465 for SSL/TLS
  • 25 for unencrypted connection (not recommended) | | Use an encrypted connection (STARTTLS)| Recommended option for secure communication with the SMTP server (enables STARTTLS encryption). | | Limit for sending emails per hour | Maximum number of emails the system is allowed to send per hour. SMTP Server Login Credentials​

These credentials are used to send system emails (e.g., account activation, password reset, etc.).

Users must find the correct SMTP settings according to their email provider. Recommended steps:

  1. Open your web browser.
  2. Search for:

    Examples:
    • SMTP settings Gmail
    • SMTP settings Outlook
    • SMTP settings Seznam.cz
  3. Find the official documentation or support page of the provider.
  4. Enter the values into the fields in the Mitsudata app (host, port, encryption, email, password).

πŸ“ Matching Email Folders​

To ensure sent mail, deleted messages, and other folders work correctly in Mitsudata,
you need to use the button to match email folders (e.g., β€œSent Mail,” β€œTrash,” β€œDrafts,” etc.).

πŸ“Œ Why is this important?​

  • Without folder matching, messages may not appear in the correct folders.
  • Ensures proper synchronization between your email inbox and Mitsudata.
  • Prevents loss of important messages.
  1. After entering SMTP credentials, click the button to match email folder names.
  2. In the folder mapping wizard, verify correct matches:
    • Inbox β†’ DoručenΓ‘
    • Sent β†’ OdeslanΓ‘
    • Trash β†’ SmazanΓ©
    • Drafts β†’ Koncepty
  3. Confirm and save your selections.
